about caroline

Thanks for taking a look at my styling portfolio, which I hope you'll enjoy!

I have a passion for all things related to interiors and graduated with a degree in textile design from De Montford University. I began my career with Debenhams in the fashion buying office and then joined an international home furnishings company as marketing and PR manager. It was there that I fell in love with the world of interiors, gaining experience in showroom and exhibition design whilst organising a talented team of set dressers for both national and international exhibitions, generating press releases and designing room sets for photographic shoots. Through my daily contact with editorial and trade press, my passion for interiors styling was ignited.

In 1993 I joined Home Flair Magazine as Style Director, then Assistant Editor, and in 1996 decided to become a freelance interiors stylist. It has been my pleasure to work for a broad range of both editorial and commercial clients with some of the industry’s most talented and experienced photographers. My projects have been varied and exciting; designing and project managing the Real Home Magazine stand for the Ideal Home Show, styling books for Merehurst Publishing, producing press shows from concept boards to realisation, editorial, commercial and residential styling. As a founding member of Mise-En-Scene Design Consultancy, we designed the launch penthouse apartment for the prestigious King’s Chelsea Development in collaboration with B&B Italia.

For the past 10 years, whilst bringing up our children, I have concentrated on residential interior design and space planning projects, but in 2012 finally returned to my first love of styling, setting my visual diary blog Trend Daily where I hope to provide ideas and inspiration from every day life.

My skill sets include concept design, location sourcing, commissioning photographers, styling and art directing photographic shoots, producing editorial, advertorial, and national advertising projects.

I'd love to hear about your project and see how we can move it forward to the next level. Please do get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you!
